Not everyone reacts the same to DHT. Saw this tweet yesterday:

High DHT affects everyone differently. Some guys get super chill and let anyone and anything fly 6 feet above their heads. Nothing is taken personally. Others will become more strict with boundaries and start being less tolerant of disrespect but w/o anger Just pure assertiveness.

To which I responded.

I'm a combo of both. Chill, don't care, not disturbed, but yet, it's my routine and life. I lead it. And this is what I want in life.

I'd say that DHT optimizes both those aspects at the same time, but enhances the one that you want the most.

For me it's chill and not caring and being aggressive at the same time. Aggressive in the sense of pursuing your goals. No slacking or loafing, just getting after it.

In terms of drive in life, about 10 years ago, it became very clear what I wanted in life. But getting to this point hasn't been easy. Lots of ups and downs. During the worst phase, especially when my T and DHT were low, I struggled the most with drive. I was very close to giving up many times.

Challenges in life don't go away. But having high T and DHT makes you tackle them easier and they don't feel daunting (or nearly as daunting as when I had low DHT). When I was low T and DHT, I'd get freaked out by any kind of challenge. Feeling overwhelmed was the norm.

Would I be where I am today without high T and DHT?

Maybe, because I'm still the person I am with the desires that I have. But it might have taken me significantly longer to do so. And, having high T and DHT makes the down periods easier and the up periods better.

The same goes for you. You are the person you are. You'll achieve the goals you have. However, having high T and DHT will make it significantly more worthwhile.
