Each month of 2025, I’m running a different DHT-boosting experiment.

Once a month, I trim my beard and send in the hair for steroid hormone analysis (DHT, testosterone, androsterone, etc.). Hair gives a longer-term average than blood — so it’s a great way to see if something actually boosts DHT over time.

In between, I’m also doing blood tests every 2 weeks for smaller experiments unrelated to DHT — things like thyroid, glucose, liver/kidney markers, etc.

Here’s what I’ve tested so far:

Butea Superba
Dioscorea
Androsterone
11-keto DHT
And now: Creatine

Yes — creatine. The same supplement you see in almost every gym bro’s cabinet.

Only one study has ever shown that creatine increases DHT.

And it set the internet on fire.

Some people still swear by it. Others say it’s BS. But no one is backing up their hot takes with actual testing. Why?

Few things irk me more than people making confident claims without data.

“Vitamin K2 (MK-4) increases testosterone bro!”

Nope. Trust me — I ran that experiment.
45mg daily for 30 days = zero increase.

But I digress…

When I announced the creatine-DHT experiment on X, the reactions were… predictable:

“Say goodbye to your hair!”
“You’re destroying your kidneys!”
“I don’t want to see your toilet!”

So, here we are — Day 9, and it’s time for an update.

Day 1: The big test

I started with 45g of creatine on an empty stomach.
Yes, I got ruthlessly punished with diarrhea for the entire day.
But I also felt:

A noticeable boost in confidence
A spike in energy and creativity
Followed by intense irritability for 2–3 hours (then it passed)

Day 2–9: Smooth sailing

Since Day 2, I’ve been splitting the dose:
15g in each of my 3 TestoShakes. (Recipe here.)

Results?

No diarrhea (hello, ghost wipes x2 a day)
No bloating or water retention
No hair shedding
No irritability

Side effects? None.

What has improved?

Creative flow: I’m writing for longer periods without mental burnout. (And believe me, writing threads and emails daily burns brain glycogen fast.)
Reduced penile sensitivity:
Let’s get real — this was huge.

I used to have intense sensitivity. We’re talking 5–10 pump chump territory.
It’s improved over the years, but I never felt totally in control — especially not when my wife was on top. 😅

Now?

No numbness
No desensitization
But full control and an intense climax
No downsides.

Why I experiment

Every time I run one of these tests, I learn something new.

Sometimes, mega-dosing completely backfires.
Other times, it leads to a breakthrough that no one else is talking about.

That’s what makes it exciting.

And this particular test?
